CMHA national is working on a study of the mental well-being of entrepreneurs in Canada, supported by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC). Please find more information on the project below:
This research is the first nationwide study of entrepreneurs working across the industries in Canada, and aims to identify the challenges, facilitators and barriers to mental well-being of entrepreneurs living and working in the country. The findings from this research will improve the understanding of common mental health challenges of novice and established entrepreneurs and encourage entrepreneurs to provide and seek peer support when establishing, launching, and sustaining their ventures. The survey can be undertaken in both the official languages (English and French) by Canadian entrepreneurs and will take about 10-15 minutes of their time.
In addition to online surveys, some phone interviews will also be conducted.
