Forensic Case Management supports individuals with complex, high needs in a community setting while matters are before the courts or awaiting admission to community programs. Admission is through the Mental Health Diversion/Court Support Program.
How are Referrals made?
Admission to this program is through the Mental Health Diversion/Court Support Program or Dual Diagnosis Mental Health Diversion/Court Support Program at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Kenora Branch.
Who is Eligible?
Individuals with a mental illness, developmental disability, acquired brain injury, concurrent disorder and/or a dual diagnosis.

Supportive counselling;
Flexible individualized long- term support;
Advocacy;
Side-by-side support in the community;
Assistance with day-to-day problem solving, priority setting & life management;
Life skills teaching;
Symptom management / medication monitoring;
Linking individuals to other services and community resources.
